ABOUT US
OLD MAN CREEK
DESTINATION
Our Niseko ski chalet is called Old Man Creek as there is a creek running nearby and the story goes that an old Japanese Man used to live nearby and loved to fish in the stream.
The Chalet is large and comfortable. The top two master suites are massive and completed with large windows with view to Mount Yotei for one and up the ski mountain for the other. Both have ensuite bathrooms with double showers and underfloor heating.
The quirky toilets offer shower and blow dry along with heated seats - always a bit of fun for the children or those with a sense of humour.
The kitchen is large and open plan - cook your meal whilst watching the skiiers. It has a full range of culinary accoutrement for easy of preperation. Or the conceirge can arrange for a chep to arrive and prepare a meal for you.
Hirafu village is situated in the Niseko ski region. Famous for massive dumps of snow each winter. The word is out with guests coming from Europe and North America to experience this winter wonderland.
On a culinary front there is fine dining or just a simple meal available in the village.
A walk around in the evening proves to be romantic with fairy lights and atmospheric food night markets to discover.
Each year a team arrive from Sweden to build the ICE BAR... a must if you love an interesting experience.
There is also the famous "fridge door" bar with lights out onto the snowy scene whilst you sit in warmth sipping the latest cocktail.
After a hard days skiing it is always fun to experience the Onsen, the hot thermal baths melt away your sore muscles.
